Ensuring an accurate mitre cut from your mitre saw

Clean all foreign materials i.e. Glue, saw dust & wood chips from the base plate & fence off your saw. Follow the same method with the material you are cutting. Always use material hold down clamps and ensure your material is firm up against the rear fence. Some manufactures guarantee their saws will cut at 45° but they won’t guarantee that two 45° cuts will make a perfect 90° joint. This is because timber can always twist or bow.
