When mounting a cutting wheel the most important thing to be aware of the flanges of the angle grinder must be of equal diameter top and bottom, and flat this to prevent to prevent distortion/flexing of the cutting wheel and possible shattering of the wheel. To prevent the flanges binding to the wheel always tighten flanges with the spanners supplied , be careful not to over tighten the flange as it may bind or crush the wheel.
